Terms of Service

Welcome to Selfki. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Selfki and govern your use of our app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Selfki.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use Selfki. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding contract.

2. The Service

Selfki is a daily selfie competition. Each day you may share one selfie, other users vote, and the most-liked entries earn points, climb leagues and may receive rewards. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. You must provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorised use. You may not impersonate others or use another person's account.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the selfies and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting it, you grant Selfki a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute your User Content solely to operate and promote the Service (for example, showing your selfie to voters). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for legal or backup purposes.

5. Rules of conduct — zero tolerance for objectionable content

Selfki has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree that you will not upload, post or share content that:

• contains nudity, sexually explicit or suggestive material;
• depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity;
• is hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening or discriminatory;
• infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• contains someone else's image without their consent, or any image of a minor in an unsafe context;
• is spam, a scam, or artificially manipulates votes or rankings.

You also agree not to abuse, harass or threaten other users, use bots or fake accounts, or attempt to disrupt the Service.

6. Moderation, reporting and enforcement

All content may be screened automatically and reviewed by our moderation team. You can report content or block users from within the app. We aim to review reports of objectionable content and remove it, and to remove or ban offending users, within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without notice.

7. Coins, rewards and purchases

Selfki may include virtual items such as coins. Virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. Any subscriptions or purchases are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; manage or cancel them through your store account.

8. Intellectual property

The Selfki name, logo, app and website are owned by Selfki and protected by law. You may not copy, modify or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Selfki and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Selfki is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you enjoy in your country of residence. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
